NJCP Football Expands to Folsom; Coach Jackson Announces Community-First Initiative for 2026 Season

Folsom, California / CRWE Press Release / March 3, 2026 — The National Junior College Prep (NJCP) Football League is proud to announce the official arrival of its newest program in Folsom, California. Set to compete at Folsom Lake College, the team will be led by Coach Jackson, who today unveiled a mission that extends far beyond the yard markers: a dedicated commitment to community service and the personal transformation of his athletes.

Central to this mission is a flagship partnership with the Twin Lakes Food Bank. Under Coach Jackson’s leadership, players will participate in regular service initiatives designed to instill the value of serving others and foster a deep-rooted connection to the Folsom community.

"Our goal is to foster a renewed mindset among these young men," said Coach Jackson. "Many of our athletes come from diverse backgrounds and circumstances often marked by poverty. I want to teach them that the survival mentality they have become accustomed to is not the reality they have to live in. This opportunity within the NJCP will help set a foundation that supports them for years to come."

The program’s philosophy is built on the principle of "Reach One, Teach One." By engaging with various city initiatives, the team aims to create a multi-generational impact that uplifts both the youth and the elders of the region.

As part of the NJCP, the Folsom program will provide athletes with elite competition, national exposure through a livestreamed season, and a structured pathway to collegiate and professional opportunities. By combining high-stakes football with character-driven community work, the program seeks to develop leaders who are as impactful off the field as they are dominant on it.
