Running Backs • Dallas Stampede
Former Oklahoma State University standout running back
I brings elite collegiate playing experience, professional football exposure, and a passion for player development coaching staff.
A native of Dallas, Texas, Roland was a four-year running back for the Oklahoma State Cowboys under legendary Head Coach Mike Gundy. During his career in Stillwater, he rushed for 1,977 career yards and 27 rushing touchdowns while helping lead the Cowboys to multiple bowl appearances and national rankings. I emerged as one of the top running backs in the Big 12 Conference during the 2013 season, rushing for 811 yards and 13 touchdowns while earning Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week honors after a historic 219-yard, four-touchdown performance against Iowa State.
Ifollowed that season with another productive campaign in 2014, adding 770 rushing yards and 10 TOUCHDOWNS
Following MY collegiate career, Roland received an invitation to participate in the Dallas Cowboys rookie minicamp, allowing him to continue his football journey at the professional level while gaining valuable experience around NFL organizations and professional football environments.
My experience playing at one of the nation’s premier football programs, combined with my understanding of what it takes to compete at the highest levels, will be invaluable for our student-athletes.”
Coach Roland’s coaching philosophy centers around discipline, accountability, vision, ball security, and developing complete running backs who can excel as runners, receivers, pass protectors, and leaders.
