Conway, South Carolina / CRWE Press Release / March 17, 2026The Carolina Spots, a member team of the National Junior College Prep (NJCP) Football League, are strengthening their player development environment through a growing relationship with Coastal Carolina University’s football program.

As part of this collaboration, the Carolina Spots will have access to Coastal Carolina University’s football facilities during the NJCP season. The arrangement provides athletes with a structured training environment aligned with collegiate standards, allowing players to prepare and compete in a setting that mirrors the next level.

Under the new agreement, the program will also benefit from shared medical and performance resources. A Coastal Carolina University athletic trainer is expected to work with the Carolina Spots throughout the season, supporting athlete health, recovery, and performance. Practice schedules have also been coordinated with the Coastal Chanticleers practicing in the morning and the Spots taking the field in the afternoon to ensure both programs train without conflict.

Leadership within the Carolina Spots views the relationship as a step forward in building a high-level developmental program for athletes pursuing college football opportunities.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to continue building relationships with Coastal Carolina University,” said Head Coach Jamar Dorival. “I’ve been blessed to help lead the Carolina Spots into a new era of junior college football alongside our Assistant Head Coach, Devonta Archer. Our incoming players will have every opportunity to succeed.”

The Carolina Spots, in partnership with NJCP, aim to provide athletes with access to quality coaching, consistent competition, and verified game film: key components in today’s recruiting landscape. By integrating collegiate-level resources and support systems, the program is focused on creating an environment where athletes can continue to develop and gain exposure.

This collaboration reflects NJCP’s broader mission to elevate the standard of junior college prep football by connecting athletes with structured competition, professional coaching, and opportunities that support their progression to the next level.
