The Transfer Portal Era: Recruiting Never Really Stops

Physical development doesn't stop the day an athlete walks across the high school graduation stage. Some athletes need an extra twelve months in the weight room to add twenty pounds. Others need another season before the game slows down, turning a raw athlete into a more polished player.

The player who graduates high school at eighteen is rarely the exact same player at nineteen. But college staff need to see that evolution on tape to believe it. A full post-grad season in the NJCP gives late developers the runway to prove they've grown, adding fresh, verified film that completely changes their recruiting profile.
